Hey guys new to the forum.
Hi all. So I'm new to this forum and I train in regular Judo, and have been doing so for about 9 years, im 16 now. I want to learn from and contribute to these forums because I've been toying around with the idea of training in some sort of boxing, kick boxing, at home. I go to the gym and all , and I have the equipment I need, and since I already am learning judo, I just want to throw in something else as a side thing that I can do at home and give some time to. What do you guys think? Crazy? Stupid? Okay? =D Thanks in advance.

Welcome to our little corner of the internet! Going to a gym to learn this stuff is always best, but at 16 you may have to make due with what you can if you don't have the funds.
Good luck with your training and hit up the staff if you need anything while you enjoy your stay here!

Hey thanks guys. Unfortunately, i can't afford to sign up to a second gym right now as i currently train judo. It would be a stupid thing to ask my parents =\. Hopefully as I get older and I get some sort of a summer job possibly I'll sign up for a month or two to see how it is. But until then, gym, judo, and bag work at home. Some shadow boxing is a maybe. Im superhvyweight so im not the most flexible guy, but I need to work on my stretchin too and get the splits done.

So your a Judo 16 year old super heavy weight? Judo is SICK! Ive been in Wrestling for about 9 years off and on, and i loved learning Judo!
With my wrestling background learning moves like Judo throws have really helped me take the fights to the ground and in my favor.

Yep 5'9 or 10 at 218 lbs. Ive done some karate for about a year or so, which was fun but, Judo is better. Been doing it forever. Yesterday was my gym day today is my judo day...I'll throw in some bag work with my judo days along with some stretching.

Ty ty. =D I have one question though...I have some cra**y everlast gloves i use, along with my everlast bag. Itsnot a long bag it stretches probably from my waist to a foot or two abovemy head. Should I get some better gear like 16 oz gloves? or just use my regular cruddy gloves i have?

I would definitely invest in some new gloves. They will protect your hands much more as well as your partner in sparring. I always keep some decent gloves around.
