Hey

Hi, been browsing a few forums for a bit and liked this one so thought i'd finally join up! :)

Been watching mma on tv for around a year or so and the last month or so been looking into different places which teach mma and i finally found a place nearby and had my first class on monday. Enjoyed it a lot and then had my second class on wednesday. Hoping to go from completely crap to semi-crap lol

Apart from that, I did try kickboxing a year ago but just couldn't get into it.

Anyways.............hello! :thumb02:

That's alright man, keep it up! Remember, just push through the first few lessons/practices, because once you get good, you'll REALLY enjoy it :)

Loving it so far :) , been learning the basics and doing my best to get my technique right. Been doing a little sparring, nothing major but as weird as it sounds the first time I got hit on the face in sparring I started laughing. Classes are finished now till the new year so just going to practise in the house to make sure I don't forget anything

What kind of classes? I'd suggest BJJ if you're serious about this. :thumb02:

You seem like a cool guy. Welcome to the forum.

As for the training goes, good to hear your enjoying it. I started the same way you did. :)

Ashes2Ashes - It's a mixed class and as i've just begun they are just concentrating on the boxing and kicking side. Once i progress then if im not mistaken it involves Boxing, BJJ and a couple others which I can't remember. However with the membership I have with them I can attend other classes so I may do the pure BJJ class. They also do grappling classes which I will definently be doing.

Rauno - Cheers mate, loving it so far. Glad I started it.
