Hey there Im new to the forums. I guess you could say Im a fairly new fan of MMA Ive been following it for 4 years but still learning more and really enjoying it. Im 22 senior in college looking to get into MMA but I have really fallen off the ball with my fitness (got to into college) and Im not sure if i should join a gym because Im extremely out of shape and not where i should be but Im still very naturally athletic i play intramural sports i was a 3 sport person in high school the basics....Football wrestling and baseball, no martial arts experience
Do you guys think i should join a gym now or push myself to get in shape first because i have always had more motivation when i know im going to something to compete and get better and without joining a place i dont feel like i even know what im doing workout wise that would get me ready for the rigors of MMA
anyways glad to join the forums and wont usually write this much on a post and look forward to learn =)
