Hello everyone...

Alright lads and lasses, im from the north east of england, i am 29 years old, so not old, but old to be starting in mma maybe?.....i am fairly fit keeping my self active with weights, running, cycling, bouldering and boxing training.....i have decided to give myself a challenge, to get fit to fight mma.....and if my trainers think that i am good enough to do so ill FIGHT!.....im really nervous and excited to do this! I have joined this and other forums for support and to find like minded people....

if possible could anyone recomend any mma, muay thai, bjj, judo gyms in the newcastle and durham areas?
preferably ones that will help me reach my goal of fighting.

also if anyone has any similar mma experiences of starting later in this sport id like to hear them.

sorry for the long introduction...

Wow, you're old. ;D
I'm not too sure about in Newcastle, but I have been training with the Hungarian top team member Attila Varga, he is fantastic at Muay Thai.

I hope you succeed in your dreams of going into mixed martial arts. If you do the only things I can recommend is to discipline yourself within a few chosen arts rather than taking a crash course in MMA.
