Greetings
Hello-
Just thought I'd create an introduction for myself. My name is Josh, I'm 29 and I live in Hell aka Phoenix, AZ.
I've been following MMA/UFC off & on since July of 2009, right around UFC 100 or so.
I grew up watching wrestling since I was 6, but have been SO un-satisfied/disappointed with the current state of pro wrestling, that I've decided to devote all of my time & attention to a REAL/LEGITIMATE sport, that doesn't insult my intelligence.
Some of my favourite fighters are: Brock Lesnar, Randy Couture, Nick Diaz, Alistair Overreem, Anderson Silva, Fedor Emelianenko, Rich Franklin, Mark Hominick and Dan Hardy.
I enjoy the UFC obviously, but I also really liked Strikeforce before Zuffa bought them out. I don't know much about Pride or Bellator (I know Zuffa bought Pride out a number of years ago, and where guys like Fedor, CroCop and Nogueira made a name for themselves).
Anyway, I'm not a completely clueless fan, but still very much a novice to the sport nonetheless. Just thought I'd say hey.

I really do like BJ Penn, but I think he's pretty much done now, right? I know that Couture's done as well. That was a helluva beating Diaz gave to him though, wasn't it?

I dunno, I think if he takes some time off, gets the drive back and returns to 155 he can reclaim the LW title. WW he can hold his own with the best of the division, but just gets overwhelmed and can't keep pace.

Yeah, he'd have to get the desire back to go out and give it another go, that's for sure.
Well I WAS looking forward to Diaz vs. GSP, til St. Pierre got himself injured again. So I'll say Diaz vs. Condit and I'll say Lesnar vs. Overeem. Also the Jones vs. Machida fight tomorrow looks like it should be good as well.  |
