message to IFL management

part of the reason they are in danger of going out of business is that they are taking an OK concept and not even allowing it to get a shot.

They have only 3 games per team per season.

They have 1 or zero home games per team - so even though I'm supposed to get into my home team, they never come here (NY - though they do go 3 hours north of NYC at Mohegan Sun and have a playoff event in NJ). They double up on games at each arena to save costs but that takes teams out of their home area more often than being at home.

Worse than any of that is they totally destroy what makes sports popular - the element of the unknown. They have never had a live TV event that i can remember and everything is canned, cut and rearranged to fit into random TV shows that have no suspense.

They should have double the amount of "games", get rid of the double shows and have half of a teams events at home. Let me go see the Pitbulls in NJ (not allowed in NY yet) or Manhattan once MMA is sanctioned.

Then let MyNetork or FSN televise live events so I can get into it like it's a real sports league.

I was more than willing to give IFL a chance , for me, their biggest blunder is the lack live telecasts (or even fresh-delayed broadcasts). It was hard to follow the goings on in the IFL if most of the time I was watching fights, I always wonder wether the fights were a month old or a year old or if had already seen them. Very confusing to follow; thus potential storylines are useless. Very stupid move on IFL's part . Wrong marketing/operation model. TSK TSK...talented coaches & fighters are being wasted.

The Flying Triangle: The demise of the IFL?

Mac Danzig is still on his back; his sweaty, pumped white torso is flushed with the auburn heat that auburn skin produces when it is aroused. His panting, fetching head has been pushed up against the cage by... Marc Bocek’s energetic pounding...

I suspect that stupidity and a poor marketing model are not the main reasons for the complaints that you both have cited. Money available to execute any plan is probably at the root of what you are seeing. My guess is that they are severely limited in terms of funding and that what you are seeing is a severe compromise and not what they would produce in a world of unlimited assets. This is probably the compromise that they have been able to fund.
