message to IFL management
part of the reason they are in danger of going out of business is that they are taking an OK concept and not even allowing it to get a shot.
They have only 3 games per team per season.
They have 1 or zero home games per team - so even though I'm supposed to get into my home team, they never come here (NY - though they do go 3 hours north of NYC at Mohegan Sun and have a playoff event in NJ). They double up on games at each arena to save costs but that takes teams out of their home area more often than being at home.
Worse than any of that is they totally destroy what makes sports popular - the element of the unknown. They have never had a live TV event that i can remember and everything is canned, cut and rearranged to fit into random TV shows that have no suspense.
They should have double the amount of "games", get rid of the double shows and have half of a teams events at home. Let me go see the Pitbulls in NJ (not allowed in NY yet) or Manhattan once MMA is sanctioned.
Then let MyNetork or FSN televise live events so I can get into it like it's a real sports league.
