jacare vs sakuraba ( semifinals mw )
aoki vs uno ( semifinals lw)

hansen vs vinner of aoiki/uno at lw finals

your thoughts on these potential matches ?

Aoki is to face Nagata in the next round and Uno is supposed to face Ishida. I strongly doubt Uno will get past Ishida.

I wouldn't mind Ishida vs Aoki/Hansen in the finals though.

Even better, but can you imagine if Kawijiri beats Hansen and Ishida beats Aoki? That's a match for the ages.

I'm starting to think Alvarez is going to make a real run at the GP. I think It will come down to him, Kawajiri, and Aoki.

I think it might end up being Aoki winning this since I'm not sure if any of these guys are going to be able to beat him if JZ couldn't.

BTW Jacare vs Saku would be terrible IMO because I don't want to see a legned get destroyed. However it would give Saku fans some perspective.

Never thought of the possibility of a Jacare vs. Sakuraba match-up. Jacare is probably one of the worst opponents they could match Saku up with, being that Saku is clearly known for needing his submission skills to win fights, and Jacare is just a beast at BJJ and would definately be the superior and stronger grappler. Still, a win over Saku would do wonders for Jacare's MMA career.
