Man, Buscape looked so inaffective, but unless your names Takanori Gomi, all of Kawajiri's opponents are gonna look inaffective, the guy just shuts you down completely. And I think if he doesn't get stupid and decides to stand with Alvarez he could have their fight in the bag.
Uno looked absolutely incredible, you could tell he had been training hard and was really ready to win, too bad it was against my boy Ishida, I was crushed. I was also crushed at how Jung was put away.
Can you guys imagine if Alvarez vs JZ went down, absolute fire works.

Buscape was scrappy as hell in their first fight, and even put up a good fight. I guess being inactive for a while hurt him, though he was facing a total stud in Kawajiri, again.

I want Dida to get some TDD because Dida vs Alvarez as a striking match would be crazy fun.
Eddie's only problem left in the GP should be Kawajiri and that will come down to who's wrestling is better IMO because if Eddie keeps it standing he will win.
And I don't see Aoki or Uno getting him down.
BTW I'm loving Uno winning because it makes Dida's win over him look even better.

I don't know, Aoki could just cling to Alvarez like he did against Akira Kikuchi in their second fight. I would say that Aoki's a problem, since he could sub Alvarez. Aoki's proven that he doesn't have to take someone down to attempt subs on them.
Kawajiri vs Aoki would be interesting.
Uno winning shocked me. I love me some Caol Uno, always have, but he hasn't looked the same in a while....until now.

I'm not sure with an already injured face if Aoki can take punches from Alvarez who has some heavy hands.
He's also a real big guy.
Aoki's damn good but I think Alvarez will look at the JZ fight and know what to avoid.

I just don't think Alvarez submission defense is as good as Aoki, and I don't think he hits as hard.
Realistically, Aoki won't carry this injury into his next fight, but Alvarez's submission game isn't going to get a whole helluva lot better.
It just seems, stylistically, like a bad matchup to me.

I think behind Gomi, BJ and Dida, Alvarez has the heaviest hands at 155. The guy hits like a ton of bricks he showed that when he fought at 170. Now I don't think he has the sub defense of JZ but he should be able to adjust his gameplan looking at their fight.

Where did you read that this was a complete domination??
Bas wasn't even too sure who won, he said split decision for Eddie...
I thought Alvarez would probably win, the second round Hansen was great though, that bit where he pushed him up from butterfly guard and Alvarez flipped in the air and nearly landed straight into an armbar, that would of been crazy awesome.
The fight was crazy awesome!

Yeah, far from domination. Alvarez about got subbed a couple times and they both landed big shots on the feet. Alvarez was able to win the stand up and get the takedowns though and he really controlled the pace of the fight.
