Got to appreciate the way Pro-Elite allows its fighters to compete in other orgs.
Hopefully Nick can take advantage of this opportunity.

I like Nick, but I think after the way Sakurai came out really sluggish and uninterested in his fight with Baron in Shooto, and lost because of it, he'll come into this fight incredibly motivated to perform at his best.
I think he has more power, better wrestling, and better overall striking. If he can keep it standing, he'll be in good shape, IMO.

I agree. Sometimes when fighters come off embarrassing loses they come back even better.

I went to the proelite autograph signing at best buy in west hollywood specifically to see nick diaz. There were six fighters there: Frank Shamrock, Nick Diaz, Gina Carano, Robbie Lawler, Jake Shields, and Phil Baroni, in that order. So we start with Frank and he was cool and we move on to Nick and I ask him "so Sakarai is next?" he replies "I don't know. Showtime is next." He was pretty standoffish which anyone who follows Nick would have expected. The funny part was Frank looked up and said "Ohhhhhh Sakarai, that would be a good fight with you and him. Have you fought him yet?" Frank was cool Nick was a dick but he is still one of my favorite fighters.

Nick Diaz instantly becamse my favorite fighter have I saw him knock out Robby Lawler. I've only seen a couple of his fights, and would love to see more. Shame he isn't in the UFC anymore. His little brother is good, but not my favorite cup of tea.

I doubt they test for Weed in Japan so he can smoke his super ganja. I hear that stuff gives you the ability to put really good fighters into extremely hard submissions.
