Winners of Cro Cop/Overeem, Kharitonov/Mighty Mo fight for DREAM Heavyweight title.

Earlier today, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic appeared on Croatian channel NovaTV (a station who in the past has televised many of the Croat's bouts live for his home nation) and revealed future plans for the fledgling DREAM promotion's heavyweight division. User "loreia" on the Kakutougi forums broke the news with a quickfire translation
From his interview for NovaTV broadcasted just minutes ago:
"Winners of two HW fights scheduled for Dream.6 will fight for Dream HW title. Those fighter will be: myself and most probably [Sergei] Kharitonov".
In other words, Mirko is expecting to kick the head off of Alistair Overeem on September 23rd, and thinks the returning Sergei has a pretty good chance against "Mighty Mo" Siligia. I don't necessarily agree with his assessment of either match, but any two out of those four fighters would make a nice marquee match-up for the Japanese fans and positively reeks of New Year's Eve. Also, if there was any doubt before, I think it's now pretty safe to assume that Filiopvic is never, ever coming back to the UFC.

So a possible Overeem vs. Kharitonov 3.
Personally I'd rather see Cro Cop vs. Kharitonov, it's a fight i've always wanted to see.

Its going to be a tough fight for Cro Cop given the way he has been fighting lately. Hopefully Overeem will be enough motivations for him to go out there and fight like the cro cop of old.

Overeem vs. Cro Cop is going to be an interesting fight. Overeem has a tendancy to put up lame performances, but when he comes out strong, he looks impressive. His win over Paul Buentello was impressive, but think he stunk up the joint against Sergei. I see him coming prepared and giving Cro Cop a good fight.
Mirko needs to come into this fight with a good strategy. Not just to wait for the big kicks and lose on points.
Sergei vs. Mirko would be pretty sweet.

Ah crap, I got Overeem to beat Mirko, but I really don't care that much for Sergei vs Overeem 3. Still, I'll take any Kharitonov I can get my hands on, but Mirko vs Sergei would be so much more interesting.
Overeem performs better at HW. Aside from the second Sergei fight, he hasn't performed poorly at that weight. Hell, he was doing good against Fab Doom until the Doomster caught him in that kimura.

Overeem is very underrated at HW the guy is borderline top 10 and will probably beat Cro Cop which IMO puts him in the top 10.
I think Overeem beats Cro Cop and then beats either Sergei or Mo. And while I'm not that exicted for Overeem vs Sergei 3 I think Overeem will look much better this time and beat him.

Of course.
I don't think I can deal with Sergei losing to Overeem again.

You know what we NEVER talk about? Mirko's conditioning, I personally think it's(was) pretty damn good and I hope its still there for this fight because if Mirko comes in with a good gameplan, he can take this with his cardio.
