"Lil Nog" to Fight November 1 at Sengoku 6

Edo at betwwx.com has the following translation of Brazilian publication Portal Do Vale Tudo's article on Rogerio Minotouro Nogueira's upcoming bout in Japan:

Rogerio Minotouro has confirmed that he'll be fighting at Sengoku 6 on November 1 at Saitame Arena in Japan. The Brazilian will face Rimbon Moise, who holds 23 professional MMA fights to his name with his most recent win coming in August.

Minotouro has confirmed the bout with Portal Do Vale Tudo.

"I can confirm the bout," he said, "He is a tough guy and has faced many good fighters. It will be tough. I am glad to return to Japan, where my career started and where I have a big fan following. I am very anxious to come back to fight there."

Minotouro was informed of his opponent only two weeks in advance.

"I was supposed to fight for Affliction but their card was postponed." He said, " I was coming off two knockout victories in 2008. I'm in great form. I'm in the best shape of my life."
I'm pissed off to be honest. Moise is not on Rog Nog's level. Neither is Edwin DeWees and neither is Todd Gouwenberg.

Hurry up and get this rubbish over and done with.

Yes, I'm always happy to see Nog fight, but I'd rather this wasn't happening.

Fedor fights I want to see..

Fedor vs. Josh Barnett
Fedor vs. Randy Couture
Fedor vs. Tim Sylvia - DEMOLISHED
Fedor vs. Andrei Arlovski - DEMOLISHED

hmmmmm, i wonder how many become reality..

I dont understand why this guy isnt in the UFC. Dana knows he has skills and the UFC could market him as being the LHW version of Big Nog. Im sick of seeing him against these chumps. I think he beats alot of UFC's top LHW's and would be a great addition to an already solid division.

3.Fedor

It's so true, the Nog brothers would be more marketable with both of them in there.

I really don't get it.

If Rogerio came to the UFC he'd have the LHW belt around his waist as soon as he got a title shot, there is no-one he can't beat. He's got nearly as good a ground game as his brother (mebbe equal, dunno how you would quantify it), but has better muay thai and boxing. Would easily be marketable aswell with his twin brother being the HW champion also. Plus we'd maybe get to see a Shogun/Rogerio rematch.

It is a joke he is fighting the guys he has been lately. :<

I don't understand why Nogueira and Arona aren't fighting top guys.

I think they are both so much better then both Jardine and Vera who where just in a co main event.
