True, some people prefer unrealistic contracts with upstart companies that probably won't last two years like Affliction and EXC. Honestly though, Alvarez might very well have just liked the competition at PRIDE II better at LW, their LW division is pretty damn stout. The real question is why hasn't anyone picked up Gomi yet? WVR is kind of a sideshow not really a main event.
