I can't wait for the other fights. But I'm interested to see how this move would go for Mousasi. While Soky hasn't looked good in his past fights, I still think he is a dangerous opponent. We'll see what happens.
I can't help but notice this is in the middle of the week. I know it's over sea's and all but damn, Tuesday/Wednesday is alittle extreme to be hosting a PPV.
Wouldn't it be something if Sokoudjou pulled this off. There is no doubt that he wants this to stay standing, he's is always demolished on the mat.
It would be something. I've gone into every fight looking for him to win, and it just didn't happen. He has such an intimidating presence lol, you almost expect him to always win.
I would love to see him win this, but I might just get disappointed again.
Well, to be fair it wasn't his fault he KO'd 2 of the top guys at the time. He was brought in to be fed to them but turned the tides. Then I think he was submitted by Lyoto, KO'd Nakamura, pimp slapped by Cane and then submitted by Sobral.
Win or lose, that's an impressive resume for a guy who was brought in for cannon fodder.
I agree, he was a victim of his own success laying the whoop down on Lil Nog and Arona put him right up there. But since then he has made quite a few rookie errors so rather than continually losing to vets he would benefit from gaining some experience and W's by fighting some lower calibre competition in my opinion.
As he is still very young and is better than his W/L record suggests. By all means fight top guys in 2 years time after having 7 or 8 fights he can learn from and win the majority of.
That is Jose Canseco.no need to get your eyes checked. That is going to be one fun night watching this. Kinda wish they would tone down on the entertainment though.
I'm hoping my boi Mark Hunt wins this thing, but damn I like Gerard so I don't know what to expect. Sokky is kind of irrelevant so I don't know why they included him. They should've included a super cool cat like Schilt or Manhoef.
This Tourney is the absoultely best card on paper this year so far. UFC 100 is pretty sick and UFC 102 is going to be ill. This card up and down, top to bottom is pretty damn slick if you ask me.
Minowa gets a leg lock on Sapp, no surprise there. Quick fight
Canseco injures his knee from running from HMC lol
Sokky beats the giant down with punches on the ground, and through his excitements, punches around the ref when he dives in to stop the fight. There was almost a corner vs. corner fight after.
Mousasi makes quick work of hunt through my favorite submission, the kimura.
Sapp is getting ridiculous. Minowa did good. I'm beginning to like the guy. Choi is looking slower than ever. Canseco is... no comment. Mousasi... I don't know what to say, I guess he really is that good. Hunt looked AWFUL. He didn't even get taken down, he basically fell down. Excellent job by Sokky, I guess he was so scared of Nortje that he wanted to make sure he was done.
