I call bullshit, but only because they say Sokky beat Big Nog (he beat Rogerio). Why would a reputable source mess that up yeah?

I dunno he does train MMA. He was on Howard Stern talking about it earlier this year I think. Not about this match, but how he trains in MMA. I think he does Tae Kwon Do as well..might be a black belt if I remember right?

In May 2008, Vai Sikahema accepted a challenge from Canseco to fight him for $30,000. Canseco claims to have earned black belts in Kung Fu, Taekwondo, and Muay Thai, while Sikahema fought in the Golden Gloves tournament won by Sugar Ray Leonard. The fight took place on July 12th in Atlantic City at the Bernie Robbins stadium.[10] The 5'9" Sikahema knocked out the 6'4" Canseco in the first round.

On January 24, 2009, Canseco fought radio personality and former child actor Danny Bonaduce in Aston Township, Pennsylvania; the three-round match ended in a majority draw.[11][12]

It was announced on April 30, 2009 that Canseco would make his mixed martial arts debut at Dream 9 against K-1 standout Hong Man Choi as part of DREAM's Super Hulk Tournament.
that is off his wiki

Wow, I hope this isn't true. He already almost ruined one sport for me, I can't let him do it to mma too.

Given his substance abuse issues, fighting in Japan makes sense...

In my experience, it takes many, many years to earn a black belt in any discipline, not to mention three. Where did he find the time to "earn" these belts? Guess when you've made enough money in one sport, you can simply buy your way to the top in others... disgrace.

He drew a boxing match with Danny Bonadouche and he calls himself accomplished? this is going to be worse than Jordan trying to play baseball.

ESPN is already covering this freak show, way to go Jake Rossen -- way to hitch your star to the wagon and set it on fire.

Only one problem, you can't get a black belt in MT
