Well to be honest when I was watching the fights from the opening round of the super hulk tournament I was really dissapointed in Sokky taking the extra shots especially when the ref has dived in and he is punching around the ref, WTF?

Unnecessary. I thought he was doing it since he was pissed with the rope holding. I aint gonna shit a brick over it though, since Jan wasn't out and he apologised straight after. Was a bit dissapointing though, I really like Sokky.

I've said this a couple of times, but I think that excitement took over Sokky in that fight, and you guys know he hasn't beat on anybody like that in a while. But I think he just became overly excited and just couldn't stop.

After however, he calmed down, went over to Nortje, bowed and apologized to him.

I think he's just a pathetic Team Quest fighter that knows he's one step above a Houston Alexander and feels better beating up on guys that looked like they came off the street.

Seriously, Soki's a bitch, and Team Quest takes another blow of being the most obnoxious, bitter, conceited camp in all of MMA.

He got carried away. He really didn't have that much of a chance against Nortje, plus this is the first time he ever fought someone so big. He is not used to it, he is not Minowa.:)
I think he was genuinely scared and wanted to finish the fight desperately.

People are acting like this is the first time this happened.

I bet you don't feel the same way about Silva trying the wrestle his way past the rferee to get to a nearly unconcsious Okami who just got hit with an illegal blow Alex.

And Silva didn't actually hit him and if he had he would get the same response from me - that it should be a DQ at the very least.

This wasn't adrenaline. When the ref is in between and 6 inches from your face and you throw multiple shots anyway it means he knew the fight was over and decided to keep punching anyway. No question it should be a DQ and shows no class.

I believe he did it because he thought Okami was faking it, thus knowing he just jipped him out of a win. Granted, that is no excuse, but the difference is...he let back and didn't actually hit him. Don't compare the two. Even you're smarter then that, I think. It's like calling a guy a murderer because he thought of killing someone and comparing him to Ted Bundy or some shit.

Now, go predict James Irvin against Anderson once more.

He didn't hold back, the ref held his ass back. Silva didn't think of attacking Okami, he went for him, then tried to get past the ref after he stopped him. Therefore your analogy is shit. A better one would be the comparison of a murderer and an attempted murderer.

You do realise I predicted Anderson to win that fight don't you? You constantly lump everyone who has ever chosen against Silva into the same category, that of some strange Silva hater that seems only to exist in your imagination who will choose any fighter based on any logic to beat him. It's the main reason I think you are an idiot.

He held him back..and backed away. He didn't hit him..therefore he wasn't "cheap." If he really wanted to hit him that bad...he'd get around the referee.

I'm sure you didn't. And you don't have to dig back in time to find the thread where you say you did, because in reality, you never did think Irvin would win, just like in reality people didn't think Leites or Cote would win, but they predicted them anyway because they wanted them to win...but you predicted him anyway to look hip and rad. You don't have to admit it, and while you call me an idiot, I'm crushed, wah. I'm not the one comparing an incident where a fighter hit an opponent after the fight is over and a fighter that didn't hit an opponent after the fight was over.

I think its hard to stop when your fighting with emotion as the primary drive. Alot of fighters have to get psyched up, but some can fight with just talent. The talent is easy to stop, but when your amped and going for it then it may take a few to sink in that its time to ramp down the aggression.

Drogo is dead on. When the ref is between you and your opponent, you stop plain and simple. This bullshit about being so pumped up you can't stop is just plain stupid. The match wasn't fast paced, it was a hugfest until Nortje went down. Sokky's fall from grace is going to get bumpy...
