I think if they keep putting together quality cards and interact with affliction and possibly strikeforce they can grow to be as big and successful as pride was. It won't grow as fast as pride did but you wait and see it will run japan again.

with proper managing and spending, they can do so, aand they have to build their own stars like pride did, and not like affliction did.
But i guess they have done that with mousasi, and alvarez.
More GP's = more stars

And if they go back to Bas and Kenny calling it, or get Quadros failing that. They already have the white canvased ring and crazy Pride lady rolling her r's.

DREAM has the potential to have an impact as PRIDE did. But PRIDE was just out of this world with their shows. If they can put on epic events like that, then they're on their way.

Simply put, no. MMA's popularity has been on a decline since the fall of Pride in Japan, Dream doesnt have the star power of Pride either they are so far off in the star power department its not even funny. Basically the facts that the audiance has dwindled, been split between diffrent promotions and then there arent enough martketable marquee fighters to bring them back. None of the currently active promotions in Japan will ever get any bigger than they are now.

I think DREAMS will become the next PRIDE. If you look at the early PRIDE (1-10) and Dreams so far, the early DREAM is better and bigger than pride. DREAM will get bigger and bigger I think.

I think they should attempt to merge with sengoku. That would help a lot. Right now Japan is split amoung the two promotions. Dream needs to buy them out or merge with them, then they have a better chance. I also think they need to bring in more brazilian top team and Chute Boxe Academy fighters.

DREAM can't get any more GP's! They've gone GP crazy!

I think they can, but they need to build up their heavier divisions, like it or not, thats what will sell more to the fans. They have a nice start, an awesome lightweight division, some other good fighters(Overeem, Mousasi, Jacare, Mayhem, Manhoef, Sokodjou, Minowaman, Cro Cop, Ninja, Zaromiskis(sp?), etc.), if they can cross promote with other orgs like Affliction, Sengoku, and Strikeforce they can have huge cards and get fighters like Fedor back in Japan. Its possible, and I would love to see it.
