Question Purpose?

What are they trying to accomplish by putting that many matches on a single card anyways?

I don't recognise many names on this card, so the talent is probably consisted of up and coming fighters.

RINGS has always been a misunderstood promotion, so like Pancrase and Shooto, it's main purpose is putting on fights with young Mixed Martial Artists.

Unhappy Former Glory

The difference is though that Pancrease and Shooto have been top level promotions in the past and still maintains part of that glory!

I can understand where you are coming from when you say Pancrase was a top level promotion (before all it's talent left, and it faded into obscurity) but Shooto have never really been that popular.

Although Pancrase and RINGS have both had fixed matches, through Shooto's twenty year history, they have never held one fixed match.
