Yeah, I'm still not totally sure that his getting cut had anything to do with an attitude problem. Then again as you said it is possible that those losses can change a man. We will see!

Duffee came forward and would have KOed a lot of other fighters, but Overeem immediately slipped and countered like a pro.

I wouldn't call that fight outclassing. Overeem wasn't really winning until the knee, even though the fight was less than twenty seconds.

Duffee tried to take his head off, but Overeem remained poised and calm. He countered beautifully. That was definitely outclassed and Duffee pretty much agreed in that interview. That definitely wasn't luck. How many times has he set up his wins with that knee (good night Ireem.) That's his patented move. He has the best pure striking in the HW division bar none. Don't worry JDS is probably next as he's the Brazillian Muay Thai champ. But man I don't think anybody can really deny that Overeem has got some serious skillz. Plus look at the experience factor. He's at his peak right now. "IF" he wins against Werdum then he could take the SF grand prix.

This was one of those swinging for the fences matches that tried to go elsewhere and it didn't work. It is also possible that Duffee realized that he wasn't going to win the fight standing and tried to take it to the ground. Didn't work obviously!

Yeah, definately true. I'm still iffy about the whole him being cut because of attitude issues. That is anything but an attitude!

I feel bad for Duffee when people talked about him it was ONLY about his quick KO, and when that happened even guys like Joe Rogen were saying he could be the future champ, and highly respected people were saying this kid Is Champ Status.
Now he is getting some of the craziest comebacks put on him, and getting kicked out of UFC / now joining freak show type of fight...
And when i say freak show i mean a fight that he stands no chance in but we would all want to watch....

You wouldn't call a 20 second knockout outclassing?
Please tell me I missed the sarcasm.

Yeah, the sarcasm probably went right over his head. Anyways, after the article I just read about DREAM, I think this is the last championship that Overeem will win from them. I wonder why Strikeforce outlasts all partners they partner with!
