Katsunori Kikuno vs. Marius Zaromskis

Alright guys, I thought about this fight today and I think DREAM should make this happen for the WW Belt.

The Dream WW devision is completely empty.. and the current LW Champion is Shinya Aoki wich is a horrible, horrible fight for Kikuno.

I mean Sakuraba get's a title shot at Dynamite, so why not give another Japanese Star a chance in that empty devision?

Your thoughts??

Zaromskis would rip off Kikuno's nose and add it to his collection of face parts. Saku's ear needs some company. :)

That confident??

You know that Kikuno has never lost a striking battle in his entire career right? And you think Zaromskis who got finished by Diaz is that good?

Kikuno is the better fighter but would most likely lose due to the size disadvantage and his own arrogance.

I doupt that the little size disadvantage would make the difference in a striking battle.

I have Kikuno via 2 or 3 Round TKO.

I wish they would somehow make this happen.. but first, let's hope DREAM will stay alive first.

I'd have to go with Kikuno by TKO, honestly...

That's probably because he has never faced a better striker. I don't see how Zaromskis being finished by Diaz helps Kikuno. Diaz outstruck one of the best boxers in MMA in KJ Noons without having the slightest problems, his standup is weird, but it works. Kikuno just has his hands down all the time and throws from his hips. That's exactly what makes Zaromskis a bad matchup for Kikuno because he's faster and more technical in the striking department.

Kikuno is much more technical in my eyes. Don't know where you get that from.

Kikuno fought the likes of Eddy Alvarez, Andre Dida (K-1 Level striker) and Calvacante who I admit is not the best striker out there.

But Zaramoskis hasn't fought anybody yet.. his biggest fights are Diaz and Cyborg Santos.. both wich he lost due to strikes. Jason High who is not a striker at all is his biggest win besides Mach who is a bad striker himself.

Diaz outstruck Noons if you think landing half as many strikes is outstriking someone. Dida isn't a K1 level striker he is a guy who has fought in K1; he isn't good. Zaromski is terrible defensively but he is great offensively and Kikuno would lose because he refuses to use a high guard properly. That straight right/right head kick combo exists to knockout guys like Kikuno.

Kikuno never even got dropped ones in his career so far let alone get head kicked. Zaromskis has some flashy moves I agree, but come on he is a below avarage striker.

He couldn't even Head Kick Nick Diaz who stands right in front of people with his hands low.
