Its team based, so you are going to get rules that protect the team. There needs to be longevity to make it any type of production to sell. Guys need to fight every other week or so so it is tough to keep them healthy,.

Favorite Fighters.
* Cro Cop
* Dan Severn
* Vitor Belfort
* Forrest Griffin
* Karo Parisyan

Hated Fighters
* Tim Silvia
* Matt Hughes
* Rich Franklin
* Tito Ortiz
* Royce Gracie

The IFL rules also prohibit: kicking the head of a downed opponent, head-butting, groin strikes, eye-gouging, strikes to the spine or back of the head, and other techniques deemed needlessly brutal or dishonorable."

Nothing about leg kicks or takedowns that dont lead to submissions... Ive seen two episodes of it so far, and it seems okay... Not the best organized and I think for the most part the refs kinda suck.
I've watched several of these events and I listened As far as the leg kick thing goes, the commentator said it.
You can't use leg kicks unless they are the start or finish of a combination. Either way I'm not a big fan. If you've never had any exposure to the MMA world, UFC, Pride, KoC etc.......or if the aforementioned organizations offer a little too much excitement for your weakened heart, then you'll probably like it.

Please ignore my previous posts about IFL. I must have hit the crackpipe one too many times that day because I was getting it mixed up with WCL altogether. WCL sucks, IFL isn't all that bad actually.

i like the IFL. I think its a great concept. Plus so what if these guys aren't the best in the world right now. everyone has to start somewhere. If the IFL can start to generate some momentum better fighters will want to sign. Plus it's getting the sport out there. It gives people a team to cheer for in a sport where you dont have alot to base prefrences of a fighter off of other than there fighting technique. It gives you a home team. Wiht teams comes good teams and bad teams, rivalries and wiht that enviroment i think that the guys in the IFL right now may not be the best but soon better fighters given the chance will want to fight in the IFL.
