I realize that Barnett is still a relatively young guy and he can't take Fedor, but how long do you think it's going to take before PRIDE gives him a shot at the heavyweight title.

Originally, I thought that if he won the grand prix he would get the shot, but that didn't happen.

Now I'm starting to hope he'll get it after Crocop. Maybe he's waiting.............. for Fedor to die of old age.

I wou;dn't mind seeing Fedor vs. Barnett at all. Two of my favourite fighters. I would think that if Mirko doesn't beat Fedor that Joshu would be second in line.

Why would they give hunt a shot before Barnett? Barnett finished Hunt in 3 minutes. It wasn't even a war.

Now that CroCop's gone, I think Barnett should be next, but after the whole Mark Hunt v Fedor I won't get the hopes up.

i was under the impression barnett didnt want the title shot at that time for some reason nice avatar btw

Maybe Josh doesn't want a title shot. I don't know why he wouldn't but he might not.

Anyway, with CroCop gone and Fedor signed to Bodog, Josh is the #1 PRIDE HEAVYWEIGHT! At least until Fedor comes back.

fedor is signed to both i believe pride allows him to fight for bodog and fedor just got a contact extention so barnett is still second or third i dunno if he is better than big nog

I don't know. Barnett is always getting better. Maybe he feels that if he waits he could end up being the one to dethrown Fedor. I think it is a big possibility. He's become a hell of a fighter.

He s only lost to three guys...and they are(were) all pretty damn good
