Barnett set to fight in Japan in November

Everyone with even a remote interest in MMA now knows about the Josh Barnett and CSAC scenario which led to the demise of the Affliction Trilogy card and ultimately Affliction as an MMA promotion.

Looking to the future, Sengoku are looking to book the disgraced heavyweight to fight in Japan on their November 7th card but he will be drug tested. Most people hark back to the days of Pride FC and other Japanese promotions where fighters were never tested. Rumours were abound as many fighters that had had successful tenures in Japan faded when they came to the US and were drug tested.

Speculation aside, World Victory Road director Takahiro Kokuho is adamant his organisation is looking to lead the way with drug testing and doping.
