K-1 World MAX 2008: Final 8

Yoshihiro Sato VS Bakauw por. Pramuk

Andy Souwer VS Warren Stevelmans

Yasuhiro Kido VS Artur Kyshenko

Masato VS Drago

------------------------------------------------------------

Wow, this looks solid as usual. However it saddens me that Albert Kraus and Mike Zambidis aren't in this one. Stevelmans is new and is pretty tough, he wiped out his last GP, but I'd much rather see Zambidis or Kraus in his place. Kido, I have no idea who he is but I can't see him advancing.

Predictions:

Masato
Masato
Bakauw
Masato[WINNER]
Sauwer
Kyshenko(upset)
Kyshenko

Yeah, Kraus is one of my favorite K-1 guys mainly because of the heart he shows...and his punching isn't too shabby either...
Out of this line-up, I'm going to have to go with Masato vs Souwer for the final. I think if Masato took some notes last October and doesn't let Souwer break down his legs again, then he should be able to take it...

The guy has mad heart but just not enough power.

Souwer had a hard time with Zambidis in his last fight (before he KO'd him). Zambidis' combo's and agility was tough for Andy. Masato himself has some serious combos, power and ridiculous speed.

It's too bad Bakauw vs Masato will prob go down in the 2nd round, the finals is where I wanted it to be.
