K-1 Grand Prix & HERO's MMA K-1 is a combat sport that combines stand up techniques from Muay Thai, Karate, Savate, San shou, Kickboxing and traditional Boxing to determine the single best stand-up fighter in the world (the "1"). HERO'S was a Japanese mixed martial arts promotion operated by Fighting and Entertainment Group, the parent entity behind kickboxing organization K-1.

MIke Zambidis got knocked out
I just found out he got knocked out by Andy Souwer, man this sucks. Hes my favorite K1 fighter and as far as i know hes never been KOd. Hes supposed to be the one handing out the KOs man im pissed.

Yeah this happened about 2 weeks ago at the K-1 MAX Round of 16.

It was such a good fight, which I think Zambidis was winning, and they went into an unnecessary extra round and BOOM, the head kick.

It really sucks because now Mike's not in the finals....

That was a dream match for me for sure. The only two fighters I like more then Zambidis are Souwer and Masato so the KO just capped off an already crazy scrap for me. I agree with plazzman that mike should have won befor the extra round but it was close. Zambidis always gets robbed in japan.
