K-1 fights revisted part 3

I'm back with part 3. I have a fight for you that pits a K-1 great against one of the tougher fighters to step into the ring. I bring to you the first fight between,

Ernesto Hoost

vs.

Ray Sefo

I think many saw this as Hoost's kicks vs. Sefo's punches and I think the fight lived up to that billing. Enjoy.

This fight is a great one to showcase Hoost's kicks. Look how fast he puts those leg kicks out there! damn! Sefo's kicks weren't all that shabby either in the beginning but you can only take so many of those baseball bats to the same leg before it gives out.

I was trippin on how skinny Ray was in those days. You really get used to seeing fighters in their later days and when you go back and watch the old fights you really notice the changes these guys go through.

EDIT*** Have you watched Sefo vs Hoost 3? Sefo's legs are just no match for Hoost's even if he's the one delivering the kick. LOL

Yeah, me and Plazz talked about how different Aerts looks from when he started to now. Cro Cop fits into this category as well.

Yeah, Cro Cops legs look like chicken legs compared to the super hero legs he has now and Aerts was real lean at the beginning of his career as well. With Aerts, you can really notice the difference in his face. He used to have the kinda gaunt look going but now his face is real full.

haha, Mirko Tigar. He was super skinny back then. But he took around 3 years off and came back and cleaned house, with a brand new look.

This fight rocked. It was at the peak of Sefo's career, Hoost's (but when wasn't it Hoost's peak?) Ray used to be so damn good, and his chin was Mark Hunt esque.

Hoost is to leg kicks as Ruth was to homers. You just shouldn't be within kicking distance of him. However, I was never too impressed by his punches, he was the stereotypical lanky fighter with great kicks but loopy punches. Although, he did combine his punches with his kicks perfectly.

Plus, back when Hoost was active, his leg kicks were like Schilt's front kicks, no one had an answer.

Hoost's kicks are like Mike Tyson punches, I don't think you could pay me enough to take one.
