Aerts vs. Schilt

So Aerts has pretty much asked to fight Semmy at the final 16 event for the GP. I think this is a pretty smart thing because last couple times he has fought Semmy was in the final of the GP where he had already been through tough fights. So now he would get Semmy when he is fresh and not injured. I think if this fight were to happen at the final 16 Aerts stands a good chance of beating Semmy. JLB was hurting Semmy with his leg kicks, which is the only real way I see someone beating Semmy barring a KO, so imagine what a fresh Aerts could do to Semmy with his kicks. What do you think of this matchup?

I think it would be a good fight. Aerts can fight a bigger fighter that he is and still beat him. But i think Semmy is most vulnerable at the start of the fight before he finds his reach and gets in a groove. My gameplan for Aerts would be constate leg kicks to semmy and get inside and try some knees to take out the giant. Sort of like this.

id say its very smart, especially as i see aerts being more succeptable to injury in the early rounds than semmy if they were to meet in the final. this way atleast aerts can come in full strength were last time he wasnt in a good position to beat him
