***SPOILER*** Tyrone Spong vs Nathan Corbett Results...

Well, as somewhat expected. I still can't believe Spong was only 23 when he first encountered Corbett. His tremendous growth, maturity, and really his age had to have played a factor. In fact I don't think Spong has even peaked yet. I was in favor of Sponge, not entirely by a landslide, but definitely the favorite. I mean if you flip flopped the ages around I would have probably favored Corbett. But as we know the hand is quicker than the kick. Spong has equally good boxing skills. That left hook is deadly!

This was the only video I could find at the moment.

Great fight.

I was really surprised at how easily Spong took this. He was winning their first fight before Carnage caught him, but I still didn't imagine it being this one sided. I still wouldn't mind seeing them fight for a third time, preferably with elbows allowed so that Carnage can make it a bit more interesting.

Spong has matured so much, hasn't let young success get to his head, if he did he's overcome it. He always had the skill, but experience is a huge factor. The boy is embracing his experience and staying active, realizes fighting is his trade, he's a threat to any professional fighter on the planet.

Anyone he lost to in the past would probably not go the distance with him now, as Corbett discovered. Spong has turned his talent into his lifestyle and that is scary.

It was a disappointing tournament, with a final nobody really wanted. But this fight was the bright spot, i love watching Spong go to work.

That should be a motto for a t-shirt. "Turn your talents into a lifestyle."

I remember he fought Bonjansky with a broken right hand...and he knocks him out with it.

Such an experienced fighter at only 27 with a keen sense of awareness inside the ring.

What a bummer

Well done to Spong who is obviously working hard

No elbows is a huge disadvantage for corbett but i still thought he would do a little better

Pretty sure that left hook wouldve knocked most people out

Looking forward to seeing more of spong
