another fly by night one hit wonder, nothing to see here move along
I agree. Doesn't it remind you of when Bob Sapp made the transition to MMA? Everyone thought his size and strength would make him unstoppable and it was believable... against opponents that were absolute cans. As soon as Sapp fought anyone decent, he got school'd, I expect the same from Lesnar.

First on board were the worshipers, people who said he was "better than Fedor." Now we've got all the people reacting to that, trying to bury the guy. Why don't we just let him see how he develops? Obviously there's at least some potential there, but we don't know how much. Putting Lesnar on a pedestal is silly. So is ripping him down because he's a "WWE guy" and comparing him to Sean O'Haire or Bob Sapp or whoever.

Lesnar defense take 2:

You dudes are being turds for the most part.

Everybody knows that GnP isn't half as effective now as it used to be. It's friggin HARD to beat a dude down when he's playing huggy-huggy, and you have to punch your own torso just to get a clip at his head.

Lesnar did this, and it was neat. That is all.

Everybody also knows that anything "Boxing>MMA" says is meant to make everybody pissed off, and shouldn't be taken seriously, especially when it involves Fedor.

Fedor vs. Lesnar would be TONS of fun to watch. The end.

I see Lesnar getting signed by Dana White in the very near future. After two or three more fights...I see Dana wanting to get Brock in the UFC. He's a great fighter, and even his simple rabbit punches feel like hammers,if you read up on Gracie's(I believe) interview he gave. Brock will become a great fighter, as long as he's willing to push it.

Of course he's not ready for Randy or Fedor -- who would be ready after only one fight? But you have to admit he has potential. He's not proven, but he's not a joke, either.

When? Now or never? And based on what? The fact he's a former pro wrestler and you don't like him?

I didn't learn much from that fight other than Brock still looked really strong, considering how easily he manipulated his opponents arms and legs to get a full mount. Other than that, there wasn't really much to say.

I think having Brock in MMA is good for the sports as it will attract prowrestling fans. I don't see him as championship material though, although I am sure he'll get the opportunity if he wins a few, just because his name still has a lot of value.

If Dana did bring him into the UFC, I don't think he would stand much chance against Randy Couture if Couture was still champion as I beleive Couture is the better wrestler and striker. Brock would have youth and power, and I don't think that's enough.
