Trainer Jan Plas arrested

Quote:
Trainer Jan Plas (63years old) is arrested for Fraud, Drugdealing and Money Laundry.
He is arrested with his 32 year old daughter and 37 year old son in law.
Who are both police officers in Amsterdam.
He coached various fighters as Peter Aerts, Andre Brilleman

Police stated:
Jan Plas was connected with big criminals in the past as well like the kidnapping of criminal Gijs van Dam jr. and that at the Mejiro gym big criminals and police officers trained together for a long time.
http://www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/4..._gepakt__.html

I hope this isn't true and if it does it doesn't affect Peter's training for his fight.

I can translate the source if you want.

Wow that's terrible. Hopefully it doesn't affect anything with Aerts.

It doesn't say how bad the allegations are but they can't be good because that site says he is suspected of drug trafficking. This is a rough translation.

He is suspected of drug trafficking, as reported Elsevier.

His daughter (32) and son (37), who both worked at the Amsterdam-Amstelland police force, have been detained for fraudulent money, forgery and fraud in writing, said the weekly.

That doesn't sound like it's going to end well for him. Hopefully its a mix up or something and he gets cleared but it doesn't sound like it.

Oh no! I don't see this working out to well Jan. In Europe they're especially rough on this kind of thing. I hate to say it but my gut feeling is that its true, I don't know why but i just have that feeling.

do you know if hes been officialy charged with it, or whether the police are investigating him for it because theres a huge difference.

if hes only being investigated id say hes ok, because even when you know somoenes doing something illegal its often very hard to prove it

Everything that I have found on it has just said that he has been detained and don't go into detail. Plas has been known to hang around shady people before so this may be true.

Trying to follow this story is hard because they aren't releasing any information. Everything I have found is the exact same thing as I posted.
