I think Daley would do great the guy has great MMA stand up he destroyed Bang Ludwig. He could defiantly be a K-1 striker if their was a weightclass.

A guy I forgot at the lower weightclass who could defiantly be an effective K-1 striker is BJ Penn the guy is fantastic standing.

I thought about BJ but he lacks kicks and his hands would have to get better to fight a guy like Masato who primarily uses his hands to strike.

I'm not sure if BJ lacks kicks or just choose not to use them since he hates getting takedown.

Also with how quick he learns things I defiantly could see him being a top K-1 fighter.

I meant that he lacks kicks in the sense that the kicks he has shown wouldn't trouble any of the Max guys.

Fedor would do well in K-1 IMO, and I think alot of K-1 stars have said this also.
We know how he bursts in on people, and would I be completely shocked if he beat a Semmy Schilt? No I wouldn't. Fedor's hand speed for a heavyweight is ridiculous, MMA or K-1.

But the way that Fedor does fight (stand-up with his hands down) I think in K-1 he would be more susceptible to being hit. So I don't think that he would be too consistant in K-1, but I do think he COULD beat a guy like Schilt, by bursting in on him and rocking him. Though I wouldn't predict it.

Fedor has good kicks aswell as hands.

+ We've already seen him stand with Mirko and we all know he did very well.

Fedor fights I want to see..

Fedor vs. Josh Barnett
Fedor vs. Randy Couture
Fedor vs. Tim Sylvia - DEMOLISHED
Fedor vs. Andrei Arlovski - DEMOLISHED

hmmmmm, i wonder how many become reality..

I think that Fedor could be competitive but without the fear of takedowns his opponents would be able to unleash nasty striking on him. I know that he hung with Mirkko but Mirko also had to worry about the takedown which I believe stopped him from unleashing his full K-1 striking glory on Fedor. Schilt is a nasty opponent for Fedor without the takedowns. I personally don't think that he could beat Semmy in a K-1 rules fight unless he got a wicked combo in at the very start and flurried till he KO'd him.

Guys like Aerts, Remy, JLB and Hari would tear Fedor up in the standup in my opinion.

That's what I was thinking as well BJ. Mirko as a striker in mma and Mirko as a striker in K-1 are two different people. He is a lot more dangerous in K-1 because he doesn't have to worry about takedowns.

Fedor also hasn't really had to deal with anyone who has good leg kicks, which he would in K-1. They could take his legs away and his explosiveness at the same time with leg kicks.

Yeah good points, that I didn't think about.

And I wouldn't pick Fedor against any of those guys, but like you said on the other page, mid level kinda thing.

I think Fedor would be more likely to succeed in Boxing than K-1, due to the lack of talented Heavyweights in Boxing at the moment.

Yeah, leg kicks are bad enough when guys are used to dealing with them. When a guys isn't used to them, they're fight ending. Fedor would be in for a world of hurt in that department for sure!

Plus, I know that JLB has gone to Red Devil to help Fedor with his striking because Fedor himself feels that his striking is lacking and he needs to work with K-1 guys to improve it.
