When I first watched the Masato and Genki fight I was surprised with how much Masato let him get away with. I'm not sure if it's because he maybe wanted to let Sudo do his thing or was afraid he would try something ridiculous and actually K.O. him.
It's really hard to find a guys groove when the other guy is prancing around, and doing the robot and such. Not to mention it's hard to make it look like you mean business when you get punched in the face with a wind-up punch like from a cartoon.
I think he could have "maybe" won the fight if he didn't do stuff like the take downs, rolling kicks, and the all the stuff with the ropes. That's considering that I personally thought he pulled off more clean shots than Masato.
Genki as always is incredibly entertaining to watch. I've always wondered how the guy would fight in a street fight.
I could imagine him doing some strange stance then kicking the guy's face in.
