Anderson Silva and Fedor in K-1

We have seen the transition from K-1 to MMA and for the most part it has been decently successful. Strikers such as Crocop, Mark Hunt, and Melvin Manhoef have flourished in the sport and done a decent job.
However does the same apply to those who go from MMA to K-1?
If Anderson Silva and Fedor were to make a transition to start fighting in K-1. How do you think they would do?
Against mediocre competition? Against Top guys?

I personally believe that they both could beat some of the lower tier competition and even some mid tier guys. However I think if they were to go up against the likes of Badr Hari, Remy Bojansky, Jerome Le Banner, Peter Aerts, and Karaev they would get beaten pretty badly.

Also, this would assume Anderson Silva goes up in weight a bit, to match guys like Karaev(220) and Hari(220).
I have heard that Silva walks around at that weight though, so it could be fairly realistic.

Tell me what you think

True, but I never really considered him a great MMA fighter. Besides, wasn't his first discipline like Karate and Kickboxing?

I would like to see Anderson Silva in K-1 just to see how he would do. He would be able to beat some names but against the likes of Lebanner, Bonjasky, let alone Shilt he would be beat.
However these guys are way bigger than him, so it would be more fun to see how competitive he would be against a some of the "smaller" fighters in K-1.

Quintion "Rampage" Jackson actually fought in K-1 twice against french kickboxer Cyril Abidi, you can see how it went here:

Rampage vs Abdid

Only fights I would want to see Anderson fight in K-1 would be against Manhoef, Spong, and Corbett. I think he would lose to most of the guys that fight in the GP except guys like Teixeira who I would love to see Anderson destroy.

Its that old chestnut about weight divisions again.

The same problem my boy Corbett has.

Would be cool to see some of the fights that have been mentioned

Unfortunately K-1 doesn't have a close enough weight class to 185ish, so he'd have to do what Manhoef does and face guys much bigger than him.

I think his clinch in K-1 would be alot different than MMA, because you can't clinch for too long, so he'd have to be alot quicker.

He'd do alright, but alot of the people in K-1 have MUCH better striking, believe it or not.
