Anderson Silva and Fedor in K-1
We have seen the transition from K-1 to MMA and for the most part it has been decently successful. Strikers such as Crocop, Mark Hunt, and Melvin Manhoef have flourished in the sport and done a decent job.
However does the same apply to those who go from MMA to K-1?
If Anderson Silva and Fedor were to make a transition to start fighting in K-1. How do you think they would do?
Against mediocre competition? Against Top guys?
I personally believe that they both could beat some of the lower tier competition and even some mid tier guys. However I think if they were to go up against the likes of Badr Hari, Remy Bojansky, Jerome Le Banner, Peter Aerts, and Karaev they would get beaten pretty badly.
Also, this would assume Anderson Silva goes up in weight a bit, to match guys like Karaev(220) and Hari(220).
I have heard that Silva walks around at that weight though, so it could be fairly realistic.
Tell me what you think
