Hari is crazy but I love the quote

This was when he was at a Dream event.

Quote:
"I came here to see great fights," Hari cracked, "but the only thing I saw is a little bit of hugging and kissing! If you want real fights and real knockouts, you are at the wrong address. I will tell you the right address: K-1! All this hugging is nothing, I challenge all the fighters here, come and fight me in the K-1 ring! Everybody who fights me gets knocked out!"

He could probably beat most/all HW MMA fighters in a K-1 fight. Overeem vs Hari would be kinda bad ass imo.
He might do okay in MMA too, but not against the top 10 guys.

You really missed the point in what he was saying. He wasn't saying he could compete in mma he was saying that K-1 is better than mma, which is quite true.

If what you want is striking and nothing else. If you prefer grappling then MMA > K1

Even if you prefer grappling it's hard to deny that almost every K-1 event is more exciting then an mma event, which is the point Hari is making.

And there is some grappling in K-1 just not in the traditional sense.

Never is the case mma>K-1, that is just blasphemy.

I dont understand how you could say the one sport is ALWAYS better than another. Im guessing you're passing off your opinion as fact?

I do enjoy K-1 fights now and again. However, I cannot watch a whole event. I get bored after 1 or two fights.

In my OPINION, an MMA event is a lot more interesting than a K-1 event because in MMA they mix it up more, and Im usually in for more surprises.

i gotta agree, K-1 doesn't quite do it for me like MMA does.
