I'm not even much of a Bonjasky fan (Le Banner for life!!!) but he was not acting. That was his third fight of the night, and he got stomped in the face.
This is the same guy who got hit in the balls back in 2006, took a time-out, came back, won, but then had to forfeit since he was too injured to continue. An actor would have forfeited, but Bonjasky didn't.

First off, wow I cant believe what an idiot Badr is. How can a pro fighter have a childish temper tantrum like that and break the rules so blatantly in the middle of a fight? I really hope he gets fined and suspended for that. Who knows if he was faking and I personally dont care if he was or not. Its a win. I dont believe fighting is about winning and losing its about putting on a good fight and testing yourself but it was his third fight and if the stomp did ANY damage at all then why would he go? Why would he put himself in a fight with even a slight disadvantage when someone blatantly disregarded his safety and the rules? I agree with his decision not to fight.

I do believe it hurt Remy.. but not as much as he said it did. I mean, lets get real..
A kickboxer stomped you in the temple with his heel, whether it landed good or not, it still will hurt like a mutha. Also, I have been hit in the temple, and saw double. I don't think he's lying about that.
Think about it like this as well. Badr Hari just giftwrapped you 400K, would you take it or fight for it?

Remys antics gave it away(the dramatic crawl back to the corner). i also think Remy said something when he was on the ground that set Hari off. why eles would the ref run over there before hari started hitting?

i've kickboxed recreationally more than half of my life now and i've long held that no fighter would pass a doctors exam in his corner after 6 - 9 rounds in other matches of the GP. I haven't been able to watch the rest of the event yet (didn't play on PPV here and i dont have HDnet) but while i imagine Remy could have continued it is not a streach by any means to suggest he would have been seeing double, with or without the stomp.
As for the stomp... it looked pretty bad in slow mo. Not bad enough to finish the fight maybe -- remy did bring his head right back up and put his hands up to block, but bad enough that between the illegal takedown (hand behind thy), the grazing two punches through the ref, then a subsiquent attempt to stomp his head... Hari should have been DQ'd no matter what -- even if Remy did want to continue. imho.

I agree, it should have never even been up to Remy if he wanted to continue. My boy Remy takes it...that was a sweet flying knee he landed in round one against LeBanner.
PS - Anyone else notice the announcer in round three of Remy vs Jerome says, "Jerome being scored on more than my ex-girlfriend"?

yeah, the slow crawl was a little much for me too.
And I'm not that familiar with k1's rules but what happened to cause Hari to freak out on Remy even though the ref was in the way? I mean the dude just hit the ground. There's not too many offensive things to throw out there in due time... something else is up...

I think the ref ran over there because Hari took him down illegally
