Hari's official punishment

Quote:
K-1 front man Sadaharu Taniagawa and rule director Nobuaki Kakuda announced that Badr Hari, after his actions in the World GP finals match against Remy Bonjasky at Yokohama Arena on the 6th, would receive punishment from the company. The punishment includes: no fight money (all of it taken away), loss of K-1 Heavyweight title, and loss of stature as 2nd place finisher in this yearís World GP tournament. Regarding a possible suspension of Hari, K-1 management indicated that a new rule may be implemented next year for possible suspension of fighters for DQ fouls in fights.

The dude definitely deserved it. What he did to Remy was one of the stupidest things you could do in a fight. Dude deserves to be suspended though.

I don't understand what Hari was thinking. He had to work past the ref to stomp Remy. It's not like it was a heat of the moment opening or anything like that. Crazy man... he deserves whatever he gets. Thanks for the info MLS, rep't.

Well Badr deserves it but it's too bad that there isn't a HW champion anymore.

He didn't try he did stomp him, Bonjasky's head hit the floor after the stomp and even after this whole situation Hari did not apologize and represent himself as a good champion or sportsman for that matter, he is a very immature and idiotic fighter for this whole thing, if anyone's interested I'll provide the link to his response about it.
