New blood for the GP

Well, we have 2 classes of fighters at the GP, the old school and new school but what about outside of them. These are guys I'm interested in seeing.

Tyrone Spong - I think everyone knows I'm down to see him this year but it may be best for him to wait one more year. He has the skills to compete but he is still a cruiserweight and the size difference between him and some other fighters would be huge. Holds wins over Diender, Kaennorsing, Samedov, and will fight Saki early next year.

2008 It's Showtime World champion 95MAX
2008 WFCA Cruiserweight champion.
2008 KO World Series Oceania champion.
2007 A-1 Combat Cup Tournament champion.
2005 A-1 Combat Cup Tournament champion.
2005 WPKL European Champion (72.5 kg)
2004 WKN European Champion
MTBN Junior Class Dutch Muay Thai Champion (-66kg)

Ramazan Ramazanov - I don't think anyone knows this guy but he is pretty damn good. 36-9-1 and 54-8 as an amateur. No 1 Heavyweight in the world by WBC Muay Thai, WMC and WPMF.

2008 WPMF World Heavyweight Champion (Cape Town)
2007 WMC Intercontinental Muay Thai Heavyweight champion (Sydney)
2007 WMC Middle East Muay Thai Heavyweight champion (Dubai)
2006 Winner of S-1 Heavyweight tournament (Bangkok)
2006 PK-1 World champion (Phuket)
2005 WMC World champion (Bangkok)
2004 King's Birthday tournament Finalist (Bangkok)
2004 WPMF World champion (Bangkok)
2003 IFMA Russian champion

Melvin Manhoef - Like Spong he will have issues will some guys and the size disadvantage but Melvin can KO pretty much anyone and that makes him interesting. Plus I'm tired of seeing him fight in mma. 35-4 record with 26 KO's.

Tomas Hron - A guy not to many people know but should. Like Spong he is working his way up in weight to hopefully get to the GP.

Patrice Quarteron - Guy coming from France who has actually called out Le Banner and Kongo to fight him. Sports a 30-4 record with 27 KO's.

Daniel Ghita - Probably one of the best fighters not in K-1

Alexander Ustinov - Guy is from Russia and is a boxer, kickboxer, and has done some mma. He has a 13-0 record in boxing, 46-8-1 record in kickboxing and is 6-0 in mma.

As we've always said, Manhoef needs to forget about MMA and get his ass back in the circuit.
