Interesting Matchup
Cung Le vs. Melvin Manhoef
Both are incredible strikers at 185. Right now Manhoef is absolutely on fire, and Cung Le trashed Shamrock in his last fight.
I'd say this would be the battle of top 3 strikers at 185 (Melvin #1, and Le 2/3)
Le will most likely employ his crazy arsenal of kicks. And he's got good combos off of them. Plus he has considerable power and experience.
Melvin has the speed, tenacity and hits like a Mac truck. I'd probably say his boxing is better in this one, but it's very close.
But what's best about this is that it could take place almost anywhere, K-1 or MMA, because neither guy is too keen of going to the ground, and they both have alot of pride in the stand up.
I'm gonna go with Melvin on this one. Dude has too much pressure, and too much power, but it could definitely go either way.

I'd go with Melvin with a fair bit of confidence.
I mean Frank actually had Cung Le rocked in that last round, unlucky that his arm was broken. He was just starting to get the upper hand.

Yeah I don't think I would think twice about picking Melvin to win this.

It would be a fun match, but I'd have to go with Melvin on this one.
After his KO win over Mark Hunt, I imagine a scene from the Fugitive... the bus on the track is someone's head, the freight train coursing towards it is Melvin's fist, and Harrison Ford leaping from the train a second before it's completely destroyed... it their conciousness. =)

I think Melvin would walk through him. Cung actually had a much harder time then he should've against Frank because Frank was about to finish him at the end of round 3 with a broken arm.

I did not even know Manhoef was a 185 pounder I thought he was at 205. He is huge. I would go with Manhoef but Cung is dangerous and a good wrestler if it came down to it. Is this fight actually going down or is it a fantasy match up type thing?
