Yoshihiro Sato's opponent at K-1 Max is.......

.......Sergey Golyaev

Random or what?

FEG has added 2 super fights to the K-1 World Max Japan Tournament they will hold in Yoyogi 1st Gymnasium on February 23.

The rumor that "Dida" will fight in this card persists, but I think that is not the case any more... Japanese media is no longer listing him as a participant, but I am not sure either way or what would be the reason for him not competing. He was definitely announced earlier.

There is a new MMA name on the card though... And this might be even more interesting than "Dida"... Sergey Golyaev has had his fights in Sengoku until now, this time he is fighting in K-1, which means a switch to FEG. I dont know if this is a sign that the organizations are looking to cooperate, but after his win over Takanori Gomi in Sengoku, Golyaev was definitely a profile Sengoku wanted to keep (or so I would think). Golyaev is taking on another Japanese favorite in Yoshihiro Sato.

The other fight added sees Japanese boxing champion Kazuhisa Watanabe taking on kickboxer Daisuke Uematsu.

Super fights - 3x3min. 1 round extention.
Yoshihiro Sato vs. Sergey Golyaev
Daisuke Uematsu vs. Kazuhisa Watanabe

Previously Announced:
Japan Tournament 1st. round fights, all rounds are 3x3min with 1 round extention if draw:
1. Nagajima☆Jienotsu☆Juichiro vs. HAYATO
2. TATSUJI vs. Yuya Yamamoto
3. Yasuhiro Kido vs. Hinata Watanabe
4. Andy Ologun vs. Taishin Kohirumaki

Semi-finals (winners will face off in the final):
Winner fight 1 vs. Winner fight 2
Winner fight 3 vs. Winner fight 4

Reserve fight:
Keiji Ozaki vs. Yasuhito Shirasu

Superfight (no extention round):
Hiroya vs. Kizaemon Saiga

Kozo Takeda
Shingo Garyu
Hiroyuki Owatari
If Sengoku and FEG do decide to help each other out, it will be cool as. I'd love to see Kitaoka mix it up with some guys in DREAM.

As for the fight, Sato should kill him.

Fedor fights I want to see..

Fedor vs. Josh Barnett
Fedor vs. Randy Couture
Fedor vs. Tim Sylvia - DEMOLISHED
Fedor vs. Andrei Arlovski - DEMOLISHED

hmmmmm, i wonder how many become reality..

Sergey is horrible. I can't understand how this guy keeps getting top fights he didn't really even beat Gomi.

Sato will murder him.

I would say RIP but I don't really wish peace for Sergey.

Ah yes, some fine tuning for Sato.

And yes, FEG and Sengoku working together would be dope. Gomi, Kitaoka, Mitsuoka, Misaki, Santiago, all got good matches in their horizens.

Plazz Gomi is gone my friend.

But yea I would love to see Mousasi vs Santiago or if he's moving to 205 Mousasi vs King Mo.

At LW Putting Mitsuoka and Kitaoka against Dream's LW division would be fun.

I honestly don't see this fight ending anyway other than with Sato getting his hand raised.

Sergey won't out point him (one thing about mma guys coming to K-1 is they know this and thats why you see them be so aggressive)and no ******* way he stops Sato. Sato has one of the best chins period, Masato and Artur threw bombs at him and he just kept coming it was crazy to watch.
