Man I can't wait to see how Dida does in this.

So pumped for this it's kinda killing his MMA career for now but Dream seems kinda disinterested in LW's this year anyway.

So Hopefully Dida lands a big punch or two and actually makes a nice little run.

The good thing for Dida is that his best bet is to close the distance and because of the newer rules in K-1 he won't have to deal with all of Buakaw's strikes once he gets inside.

In no way can he afford to take many leg kicks because once he does his power will vanish quickly, then he is screwed.

Yea supposedly he is training with some great brazilian Muay Thai guy who kicks well to get ready for the kicks. So at least Dida is aware of his opponents skills.

One advantage Dida will have at Max is that as far as I've seen and I could be 100% wrong but there really isn't a Remy Bonjasky who defends punches amazing well and is so hard to hit. It seems to me and once I again I could be wrong but that No one in Max is like Mark Hunt where knocking them out seems out of the question. Which is good for Andre since he has insane power however the key IMO if Dida is able to come back from being dropped well that'll be very good for him.

Bonjasky uses his MT guard very well, and that's how he can block the punches so well. The only person who comes close to that in MAX in that regard is Buakaw.

In terms of elusiveness, I'd say Masato and Sauwer are extremely elusive and very hard to hit.

In terms of great chin, I'd say Sato has a ridiculous chin.

If Petrosyan gets in that's another guy with a really good guard.

Also Buakaw has a pretty solid chin, the KO against Sato is reportedly the first time he has ever been KO'ed in 200 fights.

MAX is where the fun is at for sure. Look at the pool of fighters that we have here. Nothing even comes close.

I'm really hoping that Jienotsu doesn't get into the 16. I just can't dig the guy....way too fruity.

May end up being like this

1 Buakaw
2 Souwer
3 Masato ???????????
4 Kraus
5 Kyshenko
6 Sato
7 Drago
8 Murat Direkci
9 Andre Dida
10 Kohi
11 Leroy Kaestner
12 Chahid Oulad El Hadj
13 Alviar Lima
14 Nicky Holzken
15 Korea tourny winner
16 Maybe Petrosyan

If it ends up like this, there isn't a bad fight throughout the whole tournament.

Just so I'm clear because I've heard of about 10 of those guys if you were ranking the 14 you know about does Dida rank last?

With the way he looked against Mork I would put him ahead of Kaestner and Kohi and if they add the Korea tourny winner ahead of them as well.
