To be held at the Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Event dates are June 24-28, 2009

Champions of Champions II again brings the best Muaythai fighters from across the globe together for one massive fight night. After a successful Champions of Champions I in 2008, fight night is back by popular demand.

2009 fighters include top muaythai fighters of Thailand including Yodsaenklai Fairtex, Buakaw Por Pramuk and Anuwat Kaewsamrit to compete in the Champion of Champions event in Jamaica.

Also look out for Malaipet Team Diamond, Clifton Brown, Rick Cheek and with more names to be announced.

Champions of Champions II will feature top ranked fighters from across the globe defending their titles. Champions of Champions is committed to giving you the ultimate in Muaythai fighting and social networking. Our fight community brings together fighters and fight fans globally. The fight will be streamed live and made available to a worldwide audience via pay per view. Pre-fight activities to include a VIP Party with weigh-in. Join us in beautiful Jamaica or join us online, just don’t miss this knock-out event.

According to Sakchye Tapsuwan, Chairman of the Amateur Muaythai Association of Thailand (AMAT).

Mr. Sakchye said that Muaythai fighters from Lan Muay Kru Sua youth training facility may also fight in the event, which he hoped would popularise the sport at the global level. In addition, the event organiser has sent a documentary production team to Thailand to film about the life of AMAT Honorary President General Pichit Kullawanit.

“They will also film the tourist attractions and the young Muaythai fighters in Thailand in order to produce a documentary to be aired in Jamaica and many other countries. It will motivate the young to learn muaythai, which is not yet a popular sport in Jamaica,” said Sakchye.

General Pichit was already filmed when he presided over the opening of Lan Muay Kru Sua Camp on March 7 in Bangkok. Sakchye said the facility will be part of a crucial strategy to use Muaythai as a youth activity to combat illegal drug use.

This is looking good so far. I'l be anxious to see if everyone makes it to the card. Hopefully nobody has to pull out.

I suppose the odds of them putting Yod against Buakaw are near zero?

probably I doubt they would want to put probably the two biggest stars to fight each other. They would probably want two good matches instead of one great match

Risarc is in breach of their contract with Mr. Warner (he has right of first of refusal to promote this event). Second, Malaipet will not be involved. Third, Clifton Brown is just riding the coatails of Dennis Warner and INSYNC Productions. He made all the contacts when he was on the card last year (He lost and cried about it). This event will probably be just as big as a debacle as the ill fated Dubai event (which never took place and left egg on the face of the WBC). The people at RISARC (they know who they are) don't have the guts to pick up the phone and call Mr. Warner. The present themselves as good charitable people but they are nothing but dishonest narcissistic spotlight seekers. They lied to Mr. Warner time and time again. He upheld his end of the bargin and in the end they just screwed him. And Clifton, after all the Dennis has done for you don't you have the decency to call him and tell him what is up? You can call all of the fighters and gyms from last year but you can't call Dennis? That is so wrong! No loyalty. Dennis would be crazy to have you fight on any of his cards in the future. In any case, Dennis Warner and INSYNC Productions still put on the best Muaythai fight cards in the world. Stay tuned for more.

i just died a little inside..:( i may still get this but that hurts.
