Wow, no comments on this card? I watched it yesterday. My initial thoughts were the quality of fighters wasn't that great, they were a bit too many circus type fighters on the card (Hong-Man Choi, Bobby Ologun, Akebono, Giant Silva). But I guess that sells tickets for K-1.

The Norifumi "KID" Yamamoto VS Istvan Majoros was disappointing, it looked like Majoros never fought MMA before as he had very little skills striking.

Also, I love Sakuraba but he needs to hang up his gloves. He looked pretty bad after that fight.

It was a decent event. Nothing too stellar. About Majoros, it was his MMA debut. He's a olympic gold medalist wrestler, which is why he got the fight with Kid.

I agree about Sakuraba too. He just doesn't have it anymore. He's getting long in the tooth and has taken too many beatings in PRIDE.

That may be true, but greased or not he beat Sakuraba. Sakuraba also was getting hammered pretty good by Smirnovas before he pulled off the armbar. He wasn't even able to continue in the GP. Sakuraba hasn't had a win against anyone worth mentioning since he beat Rampage in 2001. I'm a big Sakuraba supportor. His time has passed is all.
