does anybody knows fighter that use savate and sanshou in k1? i dont remember to have seen any

Cheick Kongo uses Savate and is a European Champion. I can't think/don't know of any other fighters that use it.

its true its wrote on wikipedia ans other places that he trained in savate , its funny i never saw him doing any move that made me think ah that looks like savate

Lol no problem. Me either. I'd have expected Le Banner to do savate, but I guess not. Cyril Abidi either.

As for sanshou, Cung Le practices it, but he doesn't compete in K-1, so I didn't mention it.

hm hmm

the thing to is , probably some guys have trained in other art like savate tkd silat or whatever they want but when you see them fighting they dont use those techniques , i think its just to put some originality on the cards , example kicking savate style make no much sense whitout shoes or tkd type of kicking is not made to kill a cow , its more to score points on target.

Yeah, you're not wrong there. I think it takes a lot of guts and confidence in one's skills to become an unorthodox striker who uses exotic techniques. It can definitely pay off, because the opponent probably hasn't been trained against it and would therefore take him by surprise, but that rarely happens.

Like that Capoeira KO (I think it was in MMA).
