I'd imagine JDS would work his TDs hugely if he fought Overeem cos in a pure K1 fight Overeem would kill all the top UFC HWs the only guy who could possibly hang with him is Pat Barry and i wouldn't fancy his chance either.

Edit: Also i'm pretty sure Overeem has muscles that dont actually exist! No way that guy aint roiding!

He only weighed in at 242 in this fight too. He was 250-something when he faced Rodgers.

Man I don't think you would ever need to question Brock Lesnar with the kind of physique Ubereem has. All he did was push Rodgers in the shoulder and he flew like 10 feet O_O.

You see overeem thought about doing the Muay Thai clinched and stopped? That's illegal in K-1. In fact Overeem was the one that forced the rule change because he was killing guys with his knees.

No, he would not. He might destroy Brock but JDS, Cain and Carwin would murder Overeem standing. I still don't get why anyone thinks Overeem is some awesome K-1 striker when his only claim to fame is a fluke KO over Hari. Hari kicked his ass in their rematch.

Then comparing Ben Edwards to JDS? You've got to me kidding me...

yea all the hype and big wins via KO by Ben Edwards, its so comparable to fighting JDS.

JDS should stop beating legends and ranked opponents, obv to get respect in MMA u need to beat up bums in k1.

Thing is that Potential =/= Skill. Yeah, theres a chance at some point he'll have excellent skills but at this point they aren't anything fantastic. JDS, Cain etc have skills NOW. I fully believe Cain would beat Overeem. JDS would give him a fight, but I couldn't pick a winner at this moment. The reason Cain beats him is because of his wrestling more than his striking.

Im not sure if you're referring to Ben Edwards here or Overeem lol? I was saying Edwards has a tonne of potnential.
