Love me some Badr, really hope he gets active and stays active in 2011.

I'm experiencing serious Badr Hari withdrawal! I think as long as he can control his temper, he has yet to reach the height of his career. Is it true he's fighting in May? That's what wikipedia says, but you never know.

I used to really dislike Hari but it is impossible not to admire his skill and fighting spirit.

I have been watching combat sports since I was a child and I have seen people dating as far back as the young Mike Tyson, Nigel Benn, Ramon Dekkers, Chuck Liddell and I can honestly say that in all fighting sports to me personally Hari is the most exciting fighter to watch I have ever seen.

His technique is a little scrappy, certainly not as picture perfect Muay Thai as Remy for example but is so explosive and hits like a sledge hammer his highlight reel of knock outs are probably as impressive as anyones.

What makes him so exciting is (like NAseem Hamed) he is just as likely to go down or be KO'd himself and you really never know what will happen in one of his fights, he is capable of beating anyone in K1 as he has proved with stoppages over Schilt and Overeem,

His poor sportsman ship, cheap shots back stage and striking downed opponents (and general attitude) make him a hard man to really like, he is certainly a hate to love, love to hate character but its impossible not to find his fighting style exciting and engaging I feel and K1 would certainly be worse off without him

His knock out of Stefan Leko is probably the most amazing KO I have personally ever seen, it literally made me jump out of my seat....and as the previous match where Leko sparked him in similar fashion and 'rolling thunder' kick Graham put him away with shows he is equally thrilling for his losses as he is for his victories.

I hope to see more of him soon, but I fear if K1 does fold it will be difficult for fighters like him to showcase their talent on elite shows...they're simply too far behind on their grappling and ground game to ever be successful in mma (unless they have a wrestling back ground which most don't) Hari is only 26 but even that I believe is far too old to make the transition and I think I am right in saying he was subbed in under a min in his only ever venture into mma.

I must admit, i've watched this exact highlight video countless times. The beginning is just SOOO badass.
