If Pro-Elite owns both of these organizations is there a conflict of interest which is stopping them from consolidating the two companies into a more complete org?
And wouldn't this be a smarter decision competition wise?

I think ProElite is playing it smart. How many organizations have we seen that have tried to rival the UFC "too soon" and then go under?
With ProElite's current set up, they are constant players in England, Hawaii and all over the states(their last event with Kimbo and Tank was in Florida, their co promotions with Strikeforce are huge in San Jose). There companies are putting on many more shows and they are working well with other promotions. I think ProElite has a smart business plan.
I am thinking ProElite's plan is to gain popularity amongst the main stream and then merge all the talent to EliteXC.
