i just read today at lunch, in the Federalist Papers, that they never intended taxes to be manditory. it was supposed to be a person by person basis, chosing if they wanted to or not!

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it

Not that I am for overthrowing the government but there are changes that need to be made.. Like Electing Michael Savage for president..

ANd for the record.. Michael Savage is a fan of MMA.

Yea, it's funny listening to him talk about it. He's not very educated on it. He still thinks boxing is safer. But his son makes that Rockstar energy drink (which, btw, is AWESOME) and they sponsor EliteXC and some individual fighters from other orgs.

He was talking about the Frank Shamrock/Renzo Gracie fight after it happened. LOL, he said he couldn't understand how the guy who won actually lost and got carried out and the guy who lost actually won haha.

it's all the same to me if gays get married or not. Many states have a process whereby they can apply for a "domestic partnership" wherein they can get various benefits. so i'm not sure why they'd want a wedding, particularly. I guess they feel it would help to solemnize their relationship or something?? Also, planning a wedding is such an ass ache, from a practical standpoint I don't know why they'd want to get involved with all that.

I mean can you imagine 2 girls trying to pick a dress so they can get married to each other?? that alone would be a painful process with nervous breakdowns all around. it's insane enough with 1 girl picking a dress I can assure you! Or 2 dudes trying to find the most stylin suit or whatever?

i know it sounds silly but my point is, why would they want to go through all that craziness when they can just go to a state that makes it easy for them to get a domestic partnership?

I agree, and so do most gay couples. I wish I could find a stat, I don't know how to do a search for it without getting a trillion other gay stats I don't want. I can't find it but I've heard it several times, only a very very small percentage of gays (like between 5-10% I think) actually WANT to have a traditional wedding. Domestic partnership is okay by me, but marriage is still something I consider something for heterosexuals. Just my opinion. Although I see valid points in both sides of the arguement. Most gays are not for ruining the sanctity of marriage.

I'd rather not start arguing about this again though.

I also saw that documentary where the filmaker was trying to find the WRITTEN LAW in the constitution that requires americans to pay federal taxes on their work efforts (job). There is no such law ever written. Many tax attorneys and IRS representatives who have since quit have not payed income taxes in many many years. The only problem is, is that you need to take the case to the supreme court to win this decision, because they found it unconstitutional. The lower courts know this and never let it get that far anymore. It also explains that your income taxes do not go to the things you and everybody else thinks. Gas tax alone pays for all road maintenence and construction. Property taxes pay for all school related issues. Your taxes mostly pay for defence.
