Take the time to greet new members.

Too often, new members will post an introduction thread that has numerous views and only a handful of replies or none at all. New members will help this place grow so if everyone would make it a point to just stop in to these threads for a simple "welcome aboard" or "nice to have you" I think it could make a big difference.

Post then I'll greet them.

Seriously though I never look at the new member stuff.

I've been posting for almost 3 years and noone greets new members. I'd like to see that change tbh.

How many new members show up and become active members? Not many as far as I've seen.

I always searched by usercp and new posts so I might be different. Forums that greet new guys seem to have a larger influx of members imo.

Yah I've hit up a few. This site def can use an infusion of new members. Someone Tweet to Joe Rogan to mention mmaforum.com on the next broadcast and I'm sure we'll get some traffic!

We have a thread on marijuana, he may very well do it. Tell him MMAF is pro-cannabis!

Just wait until they post something a regular takes umbrage with and 10 of his online friends jump in on the gangbang

Welcome new members!

I'm also a new member. Hope you have been more successful than I navigating this site! I'm lost and confused! Surely it won't take long to learn the ropes! Excited to explore all that the site offers! Looks like its the forum I've been looking for!:)

Stick around man - and welcome! If you need help with navigating this place or anything else, don't be afraid to ask mate ;)

Oh and Rusty, nice thread!

It's definitely something we've all been slacking with lately and something that needs to change.

Your best bet is using the small grey box on the right hand side of the screen. Use you User CP and the new posts button. Its the easiest way of navigating the site. Everything else will fall into place. Seriously though. 99% of the time, like Rusty, I just use the User CP and New posts button.
