Maybe that sort of goes with Ari's question about feeling to be a man or a women. How often are you conciously aware that the transformation is part of your life and how often do you forget about it and just think/feel as a woman¿

It's always a part of my identity, I will always be a trans woman. I don't really ever forget that.

One thing that gets to me in this whole "acceptance" push everyone gets, is the biased nature.

Being gay is not a choice, but your gender is? "I was born this way" is maybe the most spoken phrase by a gay person, but it's not relevant when a 'woman in a man's body" is concerned?

That is the best summation of this whole thing KRY, good find!

I agree completely, Clyde. There's a whole stigma around it that used to be there for the LGB community, but as they become more accepted, the stigma shifts to a more marginalized group.

People are who they are. And if someone wants to take steps towards making day to day life more comfortable for themselves, in order to live a happier existence, who the **** is anyone to say that that is wrong.

Gay/Bi/Straight/Transgendered/Anything. Long as you're a nice person I couldn't give 2 flying shits.

This is how I feel. I'd rather be friends with people that are gay or transgender than be friends with all of the nasty people there are walking the earth.

I'm the opposite. I'm on more of a "hate everyone equally" kind of wave length.

Oh don't get me wrong, I hate people. The 'as long as you're nice' thing is very subjective as I find most people are cunts.
