Insane Neighbor!

ok this is kind of a weird topic.

my neighbor has always been kinda weird. she has always had a tendency to sudden extreme b!tch!ness out of nowhere, and then act normal the next time you see her. she is 10 years older than me and in the past couple years has put on a lot of weight. Lately, after a few minor issues that other people would have put behind them, she is getting weirder, more confrontational, and more short-tempered. They are supposed to move by august at the latest.

anyway she is starting to scare me. i have 2 kids and we live in a nice semirural neighborhood in my small town of about 40,000. my husband and her husband get along OK. I have been taught in my 2 years taking martial arts about confrontation being a last resort (keep in mind i train in a self-defense art). I am not a violent or confrontational person, in fact the first couple of times when I started sparring i was shaking like a leaf. HOWEVER sometimes, like everybody else, I get an angry impulse and haven't learned the complete control yet, that martial arts is supposed to help you attain, in or out of the dojo. i.e. channeling that aggression into clean moves, proper form etc.

to make matters worse she works out at the same YMCA that I do (our town only has 2 big Ys) and I try to avoid her the best I can. Given the fact that they are going away for good soon, how should I handle it when she's confrontational? women can be soooo evil, you don't know the half.

additionally i am in a cast for at least another week as ive said about 10 times every body must be so sick of hearing about it. sorry. i probably wouldn't feel so freaked out by the situation if I could move around at my usual sprint.

any input would be greatly appreciated

I would say just be the bigger person and walk away. It sounds cliche but its always better to avoid confrontation. If she starts something physical, which most women won't, then do not be scared to whoop her ass.

HAHAHHAHAHA, That should be a new expression.

Well i think that you should confront her and say "You know what, i dont know why youre being like this but stop it, youre scaring my childeren." She will probably get made at you but she will not even look at you.
