I just want to say, stupid people are stupid people, you shouldve tried to tell her what he was saying, instead of kicking his ass, then go from their, if shes that stupid to stay with him, knowing that he hes talking shit, well she can be claimed as a stupid person, you skipped a step, you shouldve seen how she felt, atleast that way after you kicked his ass you have a chance of 'tapping that' (didnt mean this joke to offend)

but seriously though, if all hes doing is talking shit, you shouldve told her and found out how she felt, but if he was beating her, forget what she has to say and kick his ****ing ass.

Wow...I gotta warning for this post...WTF....I don't see any evil swear words in this post. So what rule did I break exactly? Are we not allowed to have senses of humor on this site now as well?

IronDaisy,
You have repped me before and I appreciate it and I enjoy your input so please don't take this as a scolding, I am just going to state some facts, not judging you.

In this situation, you could be charged for criminal offense of assault and battery and in a civil suit for money that you or your parents probably don't want to spend. If the kid had medical bills or was injured you pay that and then all he has to do is get a Dr. to say he is emotionally damaged and you get to buy him some new toys.

If that were me or my kid that got beat up in this situation we would be out laughing and having a good time while getting fitted for a neckbrace and whatever other props I could get the Dr. to endorse. An asswhipping last a week or two but the memories of the cruise I would take on your dime for beating me up would last a life time. Also you would now have a criminal record and there are only 1 offense that scares employers/colleges more than what you committed today and that's **** (murderers don't usually get to apply for jobs and such).

And if you didn't beat him up bad enough to injure him, a shove is enough to charge someone with battery.

A groan of tedium escapes me...

Of course thier are grounds to sue, you are right about that.

But I would never sue someone unless I sustained real injuries,(ones that require medical bills or that would not allow me to work).

I'll take my beating like a man, then round up a couple of friends and return the favor.

One of the problems with society is that alot of people look at law suits as if they are the lottery. they get into a fender bender and show up into court with a neck brace hoping for a big payday. All this doese is jam up our courts and delays peoples hearings that are legitimate. Also costs the taxpayers. The people that really benafit from that is the Lawyers, who are happy to collect 1/3 of the settlemant.

I'd rather work for my money and handle my problems out of court.

i've been sued in the past for some BS, I'm not going to get into specifics but It was'nt for fighting or a car accident. Just some sour grapes sore loser trying to make a buck off of an honest guy

Someone asked how much bigger I was then him. I have about 5 pounds on him but we are the same height. I did not injure him. I gave him a few bruises, a black eye, and a bloody nose. I just took him back there to smack him around alittle and then let him go. He made a mistake by taking a swing at me and thats when I went off.

I think I over-reacted but I was able to talk to the girl today and she said she wanted to think it over. Thanks for all the help guys
